Work With Me
I Help Organizations Stop Optimizing the Wrong Things
Most consulting engagements make the metrics look better while the underlying problems get worse. I'd rather fix root causes.
Two Problems I See Everywhere
These aren't the problems organizations usually hire consultants to solve. But they're often the reason the other problems exist.
Ghost Metrics
Numbers that look great on dashboards but don't actually measure what matters. Training completion rates that don't correlate with performance. Activity metrics that reward busywork. KPIs that optimize for the measurable instead of the meaningful.
"We hit all our targets but somehow things aren't getting better."
One-Size-Fits-All Thinking
Applying the same playbook to every situation because it worked somewhere else. Frameworks that ignore context. Best practices that assume your people, culture, and constraints are identical to someone else's. Templates masquerading as strategy.
"We implemented the same system as [successful company] but it's not working for us."
What I Actually Do
I help organizations redesign how work actually happens—the systems, processes, and tools that shape daily reality for your people.
This usually involves some combination of:
But the specific deliverables matter less than the approach: understanding your actual situation, designing for your actual humans, and building something that works in your actual context.
Where I Stand
I have opinions about how work should work. If these resonate, we'll probably get along.
Remote & Hybrid Work
The office isn't coming back the way some leaders want it to. The organizations that figure out how to build culture, collaboration, and accountability in distributed environments will win. The ones demanding "return to office" because they don't know how to manage outcomes are going to lose their best people.
Four-Day Work Weeks
Most knowledge work doesn't require 40 hours—it requires focused time and clear priorities. Companies experimenting with compressed schedules are finding that constraints breed creativity. I'm interested in helping organizations redesign work around outcomes instead of hours.
AI as Augmentation
The "AI will replace everyone" narrative is wrong. The right framing is: people using AI will replace people who aren't. I help teams integrate AI in ways that make experts more effective, not obsolete.
Outcomes Over Activity
Measuring hours worked, emails sent, or meetings attended tells you nothing about value created. I help organizations figure out what actually matters and build systems that optimize for those things—even when they're harder to measure.
How Engagements Work
I don't have pre-packaged solutions with tiered pricing. That would be the one-size-fits-all thinking I'm trying to help you escape.
Instead, engagements typically start with a conversation to understand what you're actually dealing with. From there, we figure out together whether I can genuinely help and what that would look like.
Some engagements are short advisory relationships—a few calls to help you think through a specific challenge. Others are deeper partnerships where I'm embedded with your team for months, redesigning systems and building capabilities.
The common thread: I only take on work where I believe I can create real value. Life's too short for projects where we both know the real problem isn't getting addressed.
Good Fit Signals
- •You suspect your current metrics are measuring the wrong things
- •You've tried the "best practices" and they didn't stick
- •You want AI integration that your people will actually use
- •You're open to questioning assumptions about how work should work
- •You care more about real outcomes than looking productive
Curious If There's a Fit?
The best way to find out is a conversation. No pitch deck, no pressure—just an honest discussion about what you're facing and whether I can actually help.
